The Caribbean Association of Pension Supervisors (“CAPS”) held its second annual Conference at the Rose Hall Hilton Hotel in Montego Bay, Jamaica on May 17-18. The conference was jointly hosted by the Financial Services Commission (“FSC”), Jamaica and CARTAC under the theme “The Business of Pension Reform and Regulation: the Caribbean Experience” and was attended by CAPS members from 16 Caribbean jurisdictions. Also in attendance were representatives from CARTAC.
Messrs. Colin Bullock, Chairman of the FSC, Leon Anderson, Acting Executive Director of the FSC and Howard “Skip” Edmonds of CARTAC all provided opening remarks while the keynote address was given by Mr Richard Byles, CEO, Sagicor Group.
