CARTAC will be hosting a regional workshop on Public-Private Partnerships during March 29-31, 2017, in St. Kitts and Nevis.
The workshop will cover the following:
- Estimating the fiscal impact of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, using the new PPP Fiscal Risk Assessment Model (PFRAM).
- Identifying and managing fiscal risks arising from PPPs. The PFRAM also provides a standardised framework for identifying fiscal risks, and formulating mitigation measures.
- Reporting PPP fiscal commitments and contingent liabilities. The workshop will discuss fiscal rules, budgeting, accounting and reporting for PPPs.
